£399

What is in it

01Part 1

Where you are now

Income, outgoings and what is left, pulled from your bank through the free Healthcheck.

02Part 2

What you want the year to do

The handful of things that would make this a good year, each with a number and a date. For example, £6,000 in the emergency fund by October.

03Part 3

The order they go in

Four or five goals across the whole year, so you can choose which comes first.

04Part 4

Four sets of ninety days

The year broken into quarters, each with a few specific actions and a date against every one.

05Part 5

The session

Time with a coach who has already read your numbers, included in the price.

06Part 6

When it slips

What to do when a quarter goes wrong.

An example year

Someone aged 38 on £52,000, with £1,100 in savings, a workplace pension they have never looked at, a wedding next summer and a plan to move house in a couple of years.

They give each goal a quarter: the buffer first, then finding out what the pension holds, then the wedding costed before deposits fall due, and the house move last, once there is a real savings rate to work from.

After twelve months they have a month of expenses in the bank, know what their pension holds, and have a wedding budget and a figure for the move.

Illustrative example, not a real client.

Questions about the Money Road Map

What does £399 buy?

A coach's time across the fact-find and the session, the map itself, and a written document you keep. The fact-find is built from your bank feed, so the session starts on decisions. The map lives on your own portal.

Is this the same as the Financial Plan?

No. The Road Map covers the next twelve months. The Financial Plan models every year to age 100 with UK tax applied and answers whether your money lasts. That is £1,500.

What if my situation is simple?

Tell us and we will say whether it suits you. The free tools and a single session from £39 may be enough.

Do I have to do anything before the session?

Connect your bank to the free Healthcheck and take the two-minute money type tool. A rough figure for any pensions and your mortgage or rent helps.

Is this financial advice?

No. Coaching and planning show you where you stand, model your decisions and hold you to the actions you agree. Neither recommends a pension, fund, mortgage or insurance policy, and Buzz Accounting Ltd is not authorised to.

When a decision needs a regulated recommendation, we say so and can introduce you to Buzz Financial Services, a separate FCA-regulated firm. If you become its client it pays us a commission. We tell you before the introduction, and it is optional.

Can I cancel, and do I get a refund?

You have 14 days from booking to cancel for a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask for your session sooner, you keep the right until the session happens. Cancel part-way through a piece of work and you pay for what has been done. Email hello@buzzaccounting.co.uk to cancel.
