Common questions

Is this financial advice?

No. Coaching and planning show you where you stand, model your decisions and hold you to the actions you agree. Neither recommends a pension, fund, mortgage or insurance policy, and Buzz Accounting Ltd is not authorised to.

When a decision needs a regulated recommendation, we say so and can introduce you to Buzz Financial Services, a separate FCA-regulated firm. If you become its client it pays us a commission. We tell you before the introduction, and it is optional.

What does it cost?

The Financial Freedom Score and the Healthcheck are free. The optional 45-minute session after the Healthcheck is £39, free for Buzz Accounting clients. The Money Road Map is £399. Coaching is £69 a month, or £39 for half an hour and £69 for an hour as you go. The Financial Plan is £1,500, and ongoing planning is £49 a month.

Is my bank data safe?

The connection is read-only. You sign in on your own bank's website, so your login never reaches us, and nobody at Buzz can move money or set up a payment. The link runs through an FCA-authorised open banking provider.

Only your coach sees the transactions. Disconnect in one click and the data goes with it, or revoke access from your bank's app. Coaching data is stored in Supabase, encrypted in transit and at rest and processed in the EU. Detail is in the privacy policy.

Who will I speak to?

Andy Jackson or Peter Allen, who founded Buzz. Peter is Finance Director, licensed by the AAT, with more than twenty years in finance. Andy built Buzz Accounting and reads every Financial Freedom Score result. Neither is a regulated financial adviser.

I am struggling with debt. Can you help?

Go to StepChange or National Debtline first. Both are free and independent, and they can negotiate with creditors and arrange debt solutions, which we cannot. Phone numbers are on the money worries page. Coaching can help afterwards, once the pressure is off.
