Financial Plan
A written plan in six parts that models every year of your life to age 100 with UK tax applied, and ends with your actions for the next ninety days.
£1,500, paid once
The six parts
Where you are now
Income, spending and what is left each month, taken from your bank. Savings, pensions, property and debts in one place.
What you are aiming at
Each goal with a figure and a date: retirement, a deposit for a child, a sabbatical, three days a week, selling the business.
Does it work?
Every year to age 100 with UK tax applied, including the Scottish bands. Whether the money lasts, and the age it runs out if it does not.
What breaks it
The same plan with poor markets in the first three years, redundancy, care costs or a long life. Each result in years.
Findings
The main findings from the numbers, each ending in a question for you to decide.
Your next ninety days
A short list of specific actions, each with a date.
What £1,500 pays for
A planner's time
The fact-find, the modelling, and a session to go through the results with you.
Every year to 100, taxed
Income tax, National Insurance, dividend tax, capital gains tax, pension allowances and inheritance tax on the estate.
Two thousand more runs
The plan re-run two thousand times with good and bad years in a different order, and the share in which your money lasted.
A document you keep
Every assumption printed. If you disagree with one, we re-run the plan with your figure.
Both of you
Both incomes, pensions and retirement dates for the same £1,500, with a short call with each of you.
Inheritance tax
The tax on your projected estate. Wills and lasting powers of attorney are done by Buzz Legal.
Ongoing planning
A check-in every quarter, and your Financial Plan re-run each year with current figures and reissued in writing.
£49 a month- Four questions by email every quarter, and a call if anything has changed
- Current pension and account values run through the same engine each year
- About an hour on what changed and whether anything needs a decision
- Questions between reviews: an inheritance, an offer for the business, a redundancy package
Three years of ongoing planning costs £1,764, more than a new plan at £1,500. More than ten years from stopping with a stable position, buy a new plan when something changes. Within ten years, or with a business, take ongoing planning.
Questions about the Financial Plan
Is this financial advice?
No. Coaching and planning show you where you stand, model your decisions and hold you to the actions you agree. Neither recommends a pension, fund, mortgage or insurance policy, and Buzz Accounting Ltd is not authorised to.
When a decision needs a regulated recommendation, we say so and can introduce you to Buzz Financial Services, a separate FCA-regulated firm. If you become its client it pays us a commission. We tell you before the introduction, and it is optional.
How does it differ from the £399 Money Road Map?
The Road Map covers the next twelve months with ninety-day goals and a coaching session. The Financial Plan models your whole life with UK tax applied.
What do I need to have ready?
Complete the free Healthcheck so the plan uses your recorded spending, and have recent pension statements and mortgage details to hand.
Can I share it with my accountant or adviser?
Yes. The plan is yours, and it is written so an accountant or adviser can follow your position quickly.
Can I cancel, and do I get a refund?
You have 14 days from booking to cancel for a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask for your session sooner, you keep the right until the session happens. Cancel part-way through a piece of work and you pay for what has been done. Email hello@buzzaccounting.co.uk to cancel.
